We are a part of Takara Bio Inc., a world leader in biotechnology research and development based out of Shiga, Japan. Our GMP manufacturing site in West Japan—the first of its kind—enables seamless and sterile handling of viruses, cells, and proteins. Our North America (NA) office is headquartered in San Jose, CA, where we do most of our R&D, marketing, quality assurance, and ecommerce. Our other NA locations in Ann Arbor, MI, and Madison, WI, contribute to our research, logistics, and outreach programs. In addition, we have GMP stem cell facilities in Göteborg, Sweden, and the Takara Bio Europe headquarters in France that serves parts of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
